Yucatan – Christmas 2012

Christmas in 2011 was spent driving around the Yucatan. We passed on Cancun and Puerto Vallarta, but not the more remote and less travelled small towns and Mayan Countryside.┬áMany of these pics are from some of the various Mayan Ruins that dot that peninsula’s landscape. Merida, the capital, should not be missed. Definitely a part of Mexico I could spend a lot of time, filled with a lot of traditional culture, art, ruins, beaches, and probably the best pork tacos I have ever tasted. Swimming in the Cenotes wasn’t bad either.
